Can the adapter be used for a hair dryer?
This depends on the type of hair dryer you are using. In short, hair dryers labeled with specifications like “100-240V, 50/60Hz” and with a power rating of less than 2000W can be used in countries with 220-240V power supply, such as in Europe.
Can I charge my laptop in Europe (with 220-240V power apply) through the Epicka adapter? Does it need a converter?
Yes, most laptops are compatible with a charging range of 100-240V. You can use our Epicka adapter to charge your laptop without the need for a voltage converter even in a country with 220-240V power apply.
Does it work in Switzerland or Brazil?
The adapter itself cannot be inserted into recessed hexagonal-shaped sockets in Switzerland and Brazil, but you can connect an additional adapter (included in the package) to use it in these two countries.
I’m unable to find a plug that fits the UK socket, while Epicka claims that it works in the UK. Why?
In our Pocket 100 adapter, the UK plug shares 2 prongs with the EU plugs. The middle pin is initially folded down and you need to pull and flip it out. It looks different from a standard UK plug but works the same.
Planning trips to South Africa & India, but this adapter doesn’t fit. Does EPICKA have adapters for these countries?
